History Of The Luminaire

The Luminaire opened in March 2005 in North West London. It included a nightclub and a bar for people to enjoy live music and to have a good time.

Co-funded by John Donnelly who was from Ireland and Angy Inglis from Scotland came together to brand their ideas all in one.

The inspiration of the name came from another bar located in New York City, called Lit. The many successes of The Luminaire meant that it was voted London’s Venue of the year in 2006 and again in 2007.

Despite such amazing attidues and a postivie response from everybody, sadly The Luminaire closed in January 2011. They thanked everybody who played there.
